My sister and I both started giving these treats to our cats at the same time. Within 2 days we called each other to talk about how happy we were with the results! My cat loves to eat them and hasn't bitten or scratched me since we started using them. He even cuddles up on the couch with me now - I was so shocked the first time he crawled up on my lap! My sis has had similar results, much to the joy of my 1yo nephew" - Nimbus, vet-n-pet DIRECT customer WHISKER FACTS Cat's whiskers aren't just there to enhance a cat's looks, they are actually a very important sensory tool. Listed below are some interesting facts about cat whiskers: c Cats typically have 12 whiskers on each side of the muzzle, as well as whiskers above the eyes and on the back of the forelegs c Whiskers are long, stiff, highly sensitive tactile hairs c Each whisker end is loaded with sensory organs called proprioceptors which send signals back to the brain/nervous system c They are used for direction and location c They help in determining size/texture of objects and if they can fit through tight spaces c They help cats be aware of their surroundings by detecting changes in air current c Help sense approaching danger and/or prey c Whiskers continuously grow, fall out and are then replaced by new ones c How a cat's whiskers sit can help you determine their mood. If they are taut, bunched up and/or pulled across their face it indicates they are feeling threatened. When the whiskers are relaxed and pointing away from the face it means they are happy. When they are startled or excited a cat's whiskers will point forward. NEVER trim or cut your cat's whiskers as it can make the cat disorientated and/or frightened. --- JOKE --- None. They were all copy cats!
