Feliway. Scientifically proven to reduce stress in cats.
IS YOUR CAT STRESSED?
WE HAVE JUST THE SOLUTION
BREEDBREAKDOWN
APPEARANCE: Their most apparent feature is
their small tightly folded ears. The ear flap is
folded forward and down, completely covering
the ear opening. They are a medium, solid
build cat usually weighing between 3-6kgs.
Their short dense coat comes in a wide range
of colour combinations.
TEMPERAMENT: They are sweet, gentle and
affectionate cats. Good with children and other
pets. They like to follow people around and are
very talkative but in a soft, small voice.
AVERAGE LIFE SPAN: 12-15 years
MAINTENANCE: They are low shedding and
their short coat doesn't require any special care,
just a semi-regular brush to remove dead hair.
Their folded ears can be hard for them to self
clean, so owners should regularly check their
ears and sometimes clean them.
SUITS: Most households as they are easy to get
along with and adapt to most situations.
INTERESTING FACT: Not all Scottish Folds have
folded ears; some have normal pointed ears.
Scottish Fold
Cats can not see directly below their head/
nose. This is why they cannot see food or
treats when put directly under their nose.
Stray or wandering cats can often be a problem,
especially in suburban areas. Having a stray cat
coming around your house can cause your own
cat to become unsettled and distressed. Even
if you haven't seen them, your cat may have, or
even smelt their scent around.
If your cat does become anxious due to the
unwanted visitor you can use a repellent
or deterrent like Aristopet Home & Garden
Repellent for Dogs & Cats, that you can spray
around the yard and house to keep them away.
You could also try Feliway Spray or Diffuser to
help calm your cat. Feliway is a synthetic copy
of the feline facial pheromones that cats use to
mark objects in their environment. By mimicking
the facial pheromones it helps comfort the cat,
giving them a sense of familiarity and making
them feel safe and secure.
If a cat is hanging around your house constantly
you can contact your local council animal control
department to see if they can help.
