"Mister Ed" a much loved American sitcom
originally aired on television from 1961 to
1966 with a total of 143 episodes.
The famous Mister Ed was a Palomino
American Saddlebred horse by the name of
Bamboo Harvest. Mister Ed's voice belonged
to Allan "Rocky" Lane, although the credits
say Mister Ed was played by himself, which
remained that way for the entirety of the
show to keep childrens imaginations alive.
To get Mister Ed to look like he was talking
his trainer would use a piece of soft nylon
thread attached to his bottom lip. When it
was pulled on, Mister Ed would move his
lips to try and get rid of it, making it look like
he was talking. However, Mister Ed was very
clever and it didn't take him long to learn
that when Alan Young (who played Wilbur)
stopped taking, he needed to move his lips.

"Loved it! Quick and easy. We used it to keep poultice in
place with a hoof infection and it did the job. The pads
could be a bit thicker, so you will need more of them.
Change regularly and they will last. We used approx 6
in 6 months - a few more pads. Great article and
this company is quick in delivery and great in price!."

What is Rotational Worming?
Rotational Worming refers to periodically
changing the horse wormer you are using.
It is not about changing the wormer brand but
changing the active ingredient that you are
worming with. It is recommended to do this
because some intestinal worms can build up a
resistance to the active ingredient in wormers,
thereby reducing their effectiveness.
Every wormer has either one or a combination
of different active ingredients which is the
chemical/drug that kills the worms. The most
common active ingredients in horse wormers
are "mectin" based like ivermectin, abamectin
or other ingredients that end in "ectin". The
"BZ" or "Benzimidazole" group contain active
ingredients ending in "azole" like oxfendazole.
