What can I use to help clean this and is their any product to prevent it? There are a number of products available to help remove or clean the reddish-brown discolouration around the eyes that is caused by Epiphora. This happens when there is an excessive amount of tears flowing around the eyes or on the face. To help remove the tear stains you could use Fido's Tear Stain Remover or a pre-moistened wipe like Bamboo Eco Eye Wipes. There are also supplements and powders available that you feed to your dog which help prevent the tear staining discolouration from developing. Products like Angels' eyes or Glow Groom Tear Stain Remedy are both good examples of these. Would you like to read more on this subject?
