I need to purchase intestinal
wormers for my three adult dogs
that have not been wormed for
3 months, what should I use?
We would suggest using an intestinal wormer
that gives full coverage against all major
gastrointestinal worms including roundworm,
hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm.
Drontal Allwormer or Canine All Wormer are
good options covering all worms of concern and
like most intestinal wormers, they only need to
be given once every three months for adult dogs.
Always be sure to follow the instructions and
give the correct dose for the weight of the dog.
If you feel that your dogs may be suffering from
a worm burden, they may require worming at a
closer interval than the normal guidelines and
a veterinarian should be consulted.
As a general guide dogs should be wormed at
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age and then once
every three months as per the recommendations
on the label of the product you are using.
