There is nothing quite like that gagging sound of a
cat vomiting to make a cat owner launch out of the
chair or bed at lightning speed.
There are many reasons that a cat may vomit; some
are of no concern whereas others could be due to a
serious medical condition. Listed below are some of
the more common reasons that cats may vomit:
u Hairballs
u Gutsing food / Eating too fast
u Changes in diet
u Food intolerance or allergies
u Eating non-food items eg. paper, tissues, plants
u Poisoning - could be from toxins or plants
u Intestinal worms
u Gastroenteritis
u Pancreatitis
u Kidney disease
u Liver disease
u Heat stroke
u Intestinal blockage
Most cats will vomit intermittently throughout their
life which is often of no real concern. Repeated
or continual vomiting in your cat should never
be ignored. If a cat is vomiting on a regular basis
further investigation should be undertaken. If they
are continually vomiting and/or showing other
signs of being unwell like lethargy, weakness,
pain, in distress, blood in vomit, urine or faeces a
veterinarian should be consulted immediately to
determine the cause.

This is a really great
product, my cats love
it! My one little girl
cries when I take the
grass away to give it water or put it outside for
a little sunshine. It's so easy to grow the grass,
I'm amazed at how quickly it grows. I definitely
recommend it.
